In response to this recommendation In response to this recommendation, the Home Treatment Team conducted a thorough assessment of Miss Kelly's state of mind and her current functioning. The evaluation included a detailed medical history as well as a physical examination. It also included a thorough assessment of family and psychological therapy and a psychiatric diagnostic interview.
According to the report Miss Kelly was afflicted by a range of mental health issues, including the borderline personality disorder such as bulimia, anorexia and bulimia. She also had an addiction history to drugs and had experienced domestic abuse. Depression, anxiety, and stress made her suffer more. She was also diagnosed with bipolar affective and schizoaffective disorders.
Elayaperumal claims Medtronic discriminated against him intentionally because of his race or national origin. He claims that his poor performance review in June 2000 and the inability to provide him with certain project assignments were motivated by national origin or racism animus. However, there is no evidence that Medtronic's decisions were based upon those factors. Moreover, Elayaperumal's lower performance review did not result in any reduction in his pay or benefits, nor did it affect his responsibilities.
